Are you looking to expand your knowledge about Canada beyond your imagination? Do you want to learn with your peers from across the country about Canada’s history, people and culture, how climate change is affecting us all, and a host of other cool topics? The team at Experiences Canada has been working hard to organize a comprehensive series of fun and engaging virtual forums with the first series kicking off on December 4th. The forums are designed to connect young people across the country and spur dialogue and learning in-line with curricula from grades 7-12 in STEM, social studies, language, and creative studies, as well as second language learning. The topics have been organized in the following themes: Diversity and Inclusion, Reconciliation, Find your Path, Climate Change, and Stem and the Digital World.
Go to the Google Form or fill the form below to register for one or all of the Forums:
Youth will receive a certificate and a gift package upon completion of each forum to recognize their knowledge and skills developed through this highly engaging series of presentations, group activities, and persona project challenges. Applications are open to all Canadian youth (Canadian citizens, landed immigrants and refugees) between the ages of 14-18.
Youth will be selected based on their answer to the following question:
What is the greatest challenge or opportunity facing Canada for your generation?
Experiences Canada is also committed to ensuring that the group selected reflects the diversity of Canada’s regions, languages, cultures, and socio-economic circumstances. Experiences Canada is dedicated to ensuring full access to its program regardless of geography, ability, or economic circumstance.
